In a story published July 27, 2026, about Betye Saar’s death, The Associated Press erroneously reported the name of a company. It’s Quaker Oats, not Quaker Oat. Also there are 26 of an eventual 100 dolls on view at the New-York Historical in Manhattan, not more than 100.
