Opel sales are up 168% year-on-year in Luxembourg in August.
3,103 new cars found a buyer in Luxembourg in August, a 5.5% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally is now up 3.8% to 33,966. BMW (+9.1%) signs a 4th consecutive win at 12.8% share, but this is not enough to topple Volkswagen (-43.1%) in the YTD order. Mercedes (-7.1%) struggles on a strong year-ago basis when it ranked #1, while Audi (+13.6%) is very solid at #3 above Volkswagen. Opel (+168%), Kia (+79.2%) and Mini (+55%) stun in the remainder of the Top 10 while below, BYD (+258.3%), Fiat (+103%), Citroen (+77.8%) and Seat (+73.1%) make themselves noticed.
