Forgent Power: Fiscal Q4 Earnings Snapshot

    DAYTON, Minn. (AP) — DAYTON, Minn. (AP) — Forgent Power Solutions Inc. (FPS) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $53.3 million.

    On a per-share basis, the Dayton, Minnesota-based company said it had profit of 21 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 25 cents per share.

    The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.

    The electrical distribution equipment manufacturer posted revenue of $461.7 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $425.6 million.

    Forgent Power expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.26 to $1.40 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.4 billion to $2.6 billion.
