A teenager was arrested for his involvement in a shooting that broke out at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland, Thursday morning.
The Prince George’s County Police Department said on Friday that a 16-year-old boy from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was arrested for shooting a 15-year-old boy.
On Thursday at around 11:40 a.m., police were notified after a teenager walked into a medical center with a gunshot wound.
At around noon that day, officers were called to a shooting at the Prince George’s Community College campus. The police department said detectives quickly determined that the teen at the medical center was shot while on campus.
It is believed that the two boys had gotten into an argument earlier in the day, which led to the shooting, according to police.
The 16-year-old suspect was located and arrested Friday evening. He is being charged as an adult with first- and second-degree attempted murder along with other related charges.

The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening, and he has since been released from the hospital.
