Marshals follows the story of a former U.S. Navy SEAL and current rancher, Kayce Dutton. He is a widower who is solely raising his son Tate after the death of his wife, Monica. Dutton is hired by his former Navy SEAL team leader, Pete Calvin. The team is chosen to handle dangerous cases that involve bombers, militias, and rising tensions around the Broken Rock Reservation, while struggling with personal problems.
In season 2, the emotional and physical stakes are raised even higher than in season 1. Kayce works hard to build stability for Tate, while threats continue to follow them. Cal shared his personal story that he has been diagnosed with a serious health issue. The season is a mix of intense procedural cases and engaging storytelling.
As of now, the official network for the series has not announced the renewal for the third season. Season 2 is still streaming on Paramount+ and CBS. The production company and streaming network usually take a few weeks to renew a series.
