2027 Jeep Gladiator Gets Factory 35-Inch Tires With New Limited-Edition Off-Road Package

Jeep is finally giving Gladiator enthusiasts something they’ve been asking for since the truck first arrived. The 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition brings factory-installed 35-inch all-terrain tires to the rugged pickup for the first time, eliminating the need for owners to turn to aftermarket upgrades. Available on the Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X trims, the limited-production model combines improved off-road capability with exclusive bronze accents and unique styling details. It’s a smart move for Jeep, especially considering how many Gladiator owners immediately modify their trucks with larger tires and suspension upgrades.

The biggest news is obviously the tires, but Jeep has done more than simply install bigger rubber. The new package includes a 1-inch factory suspension lift, heavy-duty Dana axles, performance brakes, and a 4.56 final-drive ratio to help maintain impressive low-speed capability. Ground clearance increases to 12.9 inches, while approach, breakover, and departure angles measure 46.7, 23.3, and 26.7 degrees, respectively. A 4:1 transfer case further supports serious off-road driving, giving Gladiator owners a factory-engineered setup ready to tackle challenging trails without the guesswork of piecing together aftermarket components.

Jeep has also given the 35-inch Tire Launch Edition some distinctive visual upgrades. The oversized all-terrain tires wrap around bronze-painted 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, complemented by bronze Jeep badging, matching tow hooks, and exclusive graphics along the hood, sides, and tailgate. Highline fender flares and wheel-flare extensions accommodate the larger tires while adding to the truck’s aggressive appearance. Rubicon and Rubicon X versions receive additional hood and vent graphics, while the Rubicon X goes a step further with a special performance hood, unique hood decal, and exclusive side-door graphics.

What makes this package particularly appealing is the convenience of having everything engineered and installed by Jeep before the truck ever reaches the dealership. Gladiator owners have been fitting 35-inch tires for years, but doing so properly can involve suspension modifications, gearing changes, and other adjustments. By offering a complete factory solution, Jeep takes much of that complexity out of the equation. The Gladiator also retains its unique appeal as an open-air midsize pickup with removable doors and roof options, making it a compelling choice for buyers who want both truck utility and genuine off-road adventure.

The 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition is available to order now in North America, although Jeep has not announced specific production numbers or pricing for the limited-run model. Jeep CEO Branden Coté says the new edition directly responds to one of the most popular modifications among Gladiator customers. Given the popularity of larger tires in the Jeep community, this factory offering seems long overdue. For buyers who have always wanted a Gladiator sitting on 35s without immediately visiting an aftermarket shop, Jeep has finally delivered a tempting option straight from the showroom.
