Dry, warmer fall weather to make for ideal trick-or-treating weather Saturday

It doesn’t look like you’ll need a poncho this Halloween, as dry weather is on tap for Saturday afternoon and evening.

Highs on Saturday will reach the low to mid-60s with a mix of sun and clouds, “making for great conditions for outdoor celebrations and other Halloween activities,” said 7News Senior Meteorologist Steve Rudin.

Later in the evening, temperatures will fall from near 60 into the lower 50s but no rain excepted.

Clouds will increase on Sunday with dry weather continuing.

There is a stray shower possible late Sunday night.

“Don’t forget: Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday when clocks are turned back one hour,” Rudin said. “In the D.C. area sunrise will be at 6:35 a.m. and sunset at 5:07 p.m., bringing brighter mornings and earlier sunsets.”

Monday remains mild with highs in the mid- to upper 60s. A spotty shower is possible, but most neighborhoods stay dry.
