There are expensive cars, there are ridiculously expensive cars, and then there’s Pagani, where even the paint can contain actual diamond dust. The Italian hypercar manufacturer has unveiled its latest one-off masterpiece, the Huayra 70 Anima, at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas on October 31, 2026. This extraordinary creation serves as the third and final installment in a special trilogy celebrating founder Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday, following the Huayra 70 Trionfo and Derecho. While the Huayra has technically been succeeded by the newer Utopia, Pagani clearly isn’t finished finding creative ways to celebrate one of its most iconic creations. And if there’s one thing that makes this particular example especially appealing to driving enthusiasts, it’s the glorious combination of a twin-turbocharged V12 and a proper seven-speed manual transmission.
The Huayra 70 Anima, with Anima translating to “soul” in Italian, takes Pagani’s obsession with automotive artistry to another level. The exterior combines exposed carbon fiber with a specially developed metallic finish infused with diamond dust, complemented by deep Inky Blue accents and a hand-decorated platinum-leaf stripe. It’s the sort of attention to detail that separates Pagani from virtually every other exotic car manufacturer. The result is a stunning blend of sculpted carbon fiber, elaborate craftsmanship, and intricate finishing techniques that would seem excessive on almost anything else. According to reporting from Motor1 and duPont Registry, the Anima was developed through Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division, which specializes in creating highly personalized vehicles for the brand’s most exclusive customers.

Beyond the extraordinary paintwork, the Anima receives some of the most aggressive aerodynamic elements we’ve seen on a Huayra. A prominent front splitter, extended carbon fiber side skirts, individual roll hoops, and a substantial intake and fin rising behind the cockpit give the car a decidedly race-inspired appearance. A massive fixed rear wing dominates the back, complemented by extensive venting, a large diffuser, and exposed mechanical components. Perhaps the wildest detail is the bespoke six-pipe exhaust system finished in white ceramic, an unusual design that almost looks like a piece of modern automotive sculpture. It’s certainly not subtle, but then again, subtlety has never been a requirement when ordering a one-of-a-kind Pagani.

Underneath all that beautiful carbon fiber sits a Mercedes-AMG-developed 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12, continuing the mechanical formula that helped establish the Huayra as one of the world’s most desirable hypercars. Pagani hasn’t officially confirmed horsepower or torque figures for the Anima, although its closely related Huayra 70 Derecho produces approximately 852 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. The biggest attraction, however, is the seven-speed manual transmission, complete with three pedals and an exposed shift linkage. Pagani first introduced this arrangement on the one-off Huayra Epitome in 2024, bringing back a level of mechanical involvement rarely found in modern hypercars. With so many exotic manufacturers relying exclusively on automated transmissions, we’re glad Pagani continues giving its wealthiest customers the opportunity to shift gears themselves.

The interior is every bit as extravagant as the exterior, combining beautifully finished white upholstery with blue accents, exposed machined metal, and Pagani’s signature collection of elaborate switches and controls. There’s something wonderfully old-school about the company’s approach to cabin design, especially when compared with modern supercars that increasingly rely on large touchscreen displays. The exposed manual shifter takes center stage, reminding occupants that this machine was designed to deliver an experience rather than simply impressive acceleration figures. Horacio Pagani personally unveiled the Anima in Las Vegas, where all three Huayra 70 creations appeared together publicly for the first time. The Trionfo originally debuted as a commission for the Barchetta Collection, while the Derecho made its public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier in 2026.

As expected, Pagani hasn’t disclosed pricing for the Huayra 70 Anima, although we’d imagine the final figure is comfortably into the multimillion-dollar range considering its extensive customization and one-off status. The debut also comes just days before Horacio Pagani’s 71st birthday on November 10, making the occasion particularly meaningful for the company and its founder. What we find most appealing about the Anima isn’t necessarily its extraordinary paint or elaborate aerodynamic details, impressive as they are. It’s the fact that Pagani continues celebrating the mechanical sensations that made traditional supercars so special in the first place. A powerful V12, a beautifully engineered manual transmission, and a lightweight carbon fiber structure are ingredients that never really go out of style. The Huayra 70 Anima might represent the conclusion of a special three-car celebration, but it also serves as a reminder that the best hypercars can be just as much about craftsmanship and driver involvement as they are about outright speed.
