A man was killed after a tour bus collapsed at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia, Thursday afternoon, officials said.

U.S. Park Police told WTOP that officers responded to the incident at around 5 p.m. after the bus’s support apparatus failed, causing it to collapse onto the man working underneath.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene, according to Park Police.

After the incident, Wolf Trap announced that Thursday night’s show, which featured British rockers Squeeze and Adam Ant, was canceled.

“There was an accident involving a member of the community at Wolf Trap National Park today, tragically resulting in a loss of life. Out of respect, tonight’s show has been canceled,” the organization said.

Police have not released the identity of the person who died or provided additional details about what caused the support apparatus to fail.
